Hi, I’m Anton. I was born in Khimki, just outside Moscow. At 15, I took a borrowed Casio camera out with friends and made a black-and-white photo of one of them. I lost the picture long ago, but I can still see it in my mind. I think that’s where my love of black-and-white photography began.

I kept shooting and learning while working behind the scenes in professional hockey, where I was lucky enough to be part of a Gagarin Cup win.

Today, Colorado is home, and I work as a portrait and documentary photographer. I still look for photographs that stay with me the way that first one did.
